Installation

The installation procedure depends on whether AcquiObli is to be used as a Matlab toolbox or as a stand-alone windows application. As a Matlab toolbox, the installation is quite simple. As a stand-alone application, a few previous steps are needed. We now describe how to install AcquiObli in both situations.

AcquiObli as a Matlab Toolbox

First, download AcquiObli from our web site (free download area), and execute the script acquiobli.m to open a menu that helps to load data, compute the analysis and study the outcomes. Please note that data can be loaded in the usual ways for Matlab.

AcquiObli as a stand-alone program

To use the stand-alone releases of AcquiObli, the Windows 64-bit version of the Matlab Compiler Runtime (MCR) for R2015a must be installed. This package can be downloaded from the MathWorks website by clicking on the following link:

http://www.mathworks.com/products/compiler/mcr/index.html

or directly from our site (free download area), where you will find a video to show you the few steps needed to install MCR. Please note that you will need administrator rights to run MCRInstaller. The procedure can take a few minutes.

After MCR has been installed, download AcquiObli from our web site (free download area), and execute the applications AcquiObli.exe to compute the analysis and study the outcomes.
